Project Overview
Since opening in Shoreditch in 2011, Grind has grown across London with cafés and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery. During lockdown, they expanded to offer an extremely popular international Coffee-at-Home subscription service. They lead the way in Coffee Pod technology, being the first in the UK to be certified home-compostable. Today, they make more than two million cups of coffee a year across their cafés, and twelve million more are made at home, and by baristas at Soho House. That's one every three seconds.
My Contributions
I led the UI/UX design for Grind's best-in-class
mobile app (and Android) that lets customers order ahead and collect their coffee from any Grind Location. It now offers subscriptions and rewards.
I also designed the UI/UX for most of the
Grind.co.uk website, including all the subscriptions and online shopping flows.
