Grabble Fashion.

Head of Design, Product Owner
Project Overview
The Grabble app helped its users discover the best new fashion and homeware, as curated by expert stylists. They could get inspired by amazing articles and edits, and buy anything in one tap. The app was characterised by its swipe interface. You swiped through clothes suggestions like you would in a Tinder feed. This gave a more engaging experience. The app was very popular, with 2m+ downloads and extensive press coverage.

My Contributions
I joined the company early on and led the redesign of the app, which was followed by a full rebuild. We expanded from an app with a simple swipe-able feed, to an app with editorial, collections, and articles. We also built best in class in-app payment and checkout that increased sales dramatically. Through this time I led a small design team and eventually also became Head of Product.

UI/UX Design
Grabble was a great design opportunity – with the Tinder-style swipe interface it had, we were able to craft some very rich and nuanced interactions, giving the "cards" showing clothes a lovely tactile feel. The image heavy content available also allowed lots of chances to showcase the imagery throughout the app.
