Project Overview
Dusk is the ultimate nightlife guide. It helps you find cool bars with its curated guides, and offers free drinks at bars every night. The Dusk rewards system lets users link a bank card and automatically earn points every time they spend at selected bars. Dusk is currently available in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton and is launching in more cities soon.
My Contributions
I designed most of the key screens and flows in the app, including the home screen, the bar search, the bar page and the rewards pages, as well as the onboarding flow. I also designed pages for Dusk on web, such as promotional pages and blog pages. More recently we've been refining the flows for finding bars, and making the in-app rewards more rewarding!

The Dusk app is an extremely popular app for going out in big cities in the UK, currently sitting at over 13k 4.9 star reviews on the App Store. It helps you find cool bars and gives you free drinks – it's hard to argue with that proposition.

The app UI is dark mode by default. Designed to look its best while you're out at night. We iterated at length to make the perfect bar discovery screen, landing on one which takes the best elements from a map and a rich visual list of bars. We also made it easy to search and filter by what you want, whether it's to find a craft beer pub, somewhere with a free Espresso Martini, or just somewhere that's still open now at 3am.
